MKT501 Marketing Management GDB 1 Fall 2020


Case:

Suppose there are five different companies operating in an industry, Company A, B, C, D and E. Company A for its customers focuses on products that are widely available and are inexpensive. Company B follows the approach focusing on product, which offers most quality performance and innovative features. Thus, its attention is towards making products more superior with continuous improvement. The emphasis of company C is on aggressive selling and high promotional back up. Company D trusts in the idea that holds that the key to organizational goals consists of company being more effective than participants in creating, delivering and interactive consumer value to the chosen target. Whereas the Company E emphasizes on the wellbeing of the consumer and the overall wellbeing of the society.

Consider the scenario provided about very carefully and mention the marketing philosophy concept is followed by each of the mentioned companies i.e Company A, B, C and D.

Company A:

Company A for its customers focuses on products that are widely available and are inexpensive.

Production concept:

Production Concept is the idea that consumer will approval products that are accessible or highly reasonable. So, organization focuses on production for the accessibility of product to customer at affordable prices.

Company B:

Company B follows the method that focus on creation, which offers mostly excellence presentation and inventive features. Thus, its attention is towards manufacture products more superior with incessant development.

Product Concept:

Product concept is the idea that give customers the favor of creation that offers the most quality, performance and sorts. Organizations should therefore dedicate the energy to making incessant product developments.

Company C:

The emphasis of Company C is on aggressive selling and high promotional back up.

Selling Concept:

Selling concept is the idea that clienteles will not buy enough of the firm’s goods unless it assumes a large measure selling and publicity efforts. You may sell your product once or twice through heavy ad.

Solution D:

Company D believes in the concept that holds that the key to organizational goals consists of company being more effective than competitors in creating, delivering and interactive consumer value to the chosen target.

Marketing concept is the idea that attaining the organizational goals be determined by on knowing the needs and wants of the target markets and bringing the chosen approval better than competitors.

Company E:

Whereas Company E emphasizes on the well-being of the consumer and the overall well-being of the society.

Societal Concept:

Societal Marketing concept is the idea that a company should make good marketing decision by considering consumers wants the company’s requirements, consumer’s long term interests and society long run interests.
